Being an entrepreneur isn’t just a desire, it is in my blood.  Business was an important part of my life ever since I can remember. My grandfather’s small business and networking skills was something I began to learn since the age of 5.

My first business venture began at the age of 8 when someone offered to by a small beaded leather keychain I had made. I remember the excitement and thrill that came with this first sale. I became excited to continue my new found venture. I was told if I wanted to start making money I could not spend that money but had to reinvest it and expand. This lead me to develop a continuous desire to work, find ways to generate revenue. Being mentored by two entrepreneurs at such a young age, created a great challenge for me.

Every single winter I remember waking up early in the morning to set up our shop at the local flea market. My father and grandfather showed me that if I wanted to make more money, I had to work like I made more money. I always set my goals higher than expected. I wanted to exceed in everything I did.  School was never challenging enough for me even though I loved learning. Entrepreneurship gave me the challenge I needed to keep me busy while in school.

Over the next years, I worked for several small businesses and desired to obtain success on my own, with my own business. With the new found knowledge of digital marketing I was able to create a successful online business. When the website began generating tons of traffic, a family member desperately needed to rebuild a business that was at the brink of bankruptcy.  With very little capital, the company was restructured and the rebrand campaign was launched. Two year later, the company’s debts had been paid off and began generating profits.  The new image not only improved the appearance greatly, it increased our community presence, and acquired new contracts,due to the new structure.

This tough experience was one of the best things that could have happened to me. I realized the importance of customer service, company structure, branding through marketing, setting and obtaining goals. Every customer experience plays a role in brand value. Adding value to your brand increases revenue.

Marketing allows me to use my analytical side and creativity. I set goals, create a unique solution then analyze the results. I enjoy being different, it’s just who I am. I apply that to every aspect of my life. I want to excel in everything I do and always take it to the next level.
